Founded in 1996 in Bremen, Germany by two lawyers, wpd has developed into one of the world’s leading companies in renewable energy, employing approximately 1,300 dedicated professionals across 33 countries.

We are expanding our power generation business globally through development, construction, and operation of onshore wind and solar power projects.

Established in January 2018, wpd Japan K.K. is the Japanese subsidiary of wpd.
